Across Tennessee, public libraries are being shut down, audited, and pressured to remove books because of political directives that target LGBTQ+ stories, limit access to information, and undermine the constitutional rights of all Tennesseans.

Today, we need Tennesseans who believe in freedom, fairness, and the right to read to step forward.

• I believe every person, regardless of age, identity, faith, background, or politics, deserves free and equal access to public libraries.
• I reject censorship, discriminatory book bans, and politically motivated shutdowns.
• I will stand with librarians, students, families, and communities to protect open libraries, diverse collections, and the constitutional rights of all readers.
